What Entrees to AVOID

Glad to hear that Boma nor Liberty Tree Tavern are on this list anywhere - they are the only 2 ADR's I have made so far.

I would have to say the chicken ceasar salad at Sci-Fi :guilty: The salad part was good but the chicken was very dry and tasteless. But I still like Sci-Fi and plan on going back.....but will definately order something else :sunny:

No matter what someone says they didn't like - there are two people behind them defending the same meal.

We loved alfredo's and I have heard so many good things about the chicken parm at MM - oh and a lot of people complain about LTT and how the food is just frozen stouffer's and not very good.

That being said, the beef rib and island beans at Olivia's was not good in my opinion - the rib was tasty but the beans were tasteless and pasty.

That would be at the 50s prime time cafe.......the pot roast, it looked like it had been sitting there for days, GROSS. :sad2:

The BBQ chicken sandwich at Sci-Fi. The textures and flavors just did not go together IMHO.

I agree.... Italy was the only place we've had bad meals at.

1st time was horrible, chef boyardee style and thought we'd give it another try  ...not so good

Ok I hate to even say this about my favorite place in all of WDW to eat, the Kona Cafe. I have heard from more than one server there, to stay away from the Turkey madallions plate.

I have the cooking with mickey and disney chefs cookbook. I have made two dishes from that book that were absolutely horrible. But maybe I messed it up.

One was the Braised Red Cabbage from Biergarten.

The other was the Grapefruit Cake from Brown Derby.

For Counter Service I have to say the Noodle Station....horrible, not fit for human consumption, mushy, too salty and tastless......I should have just flushed $20 down the toilet and saved myself the headache.

For Table Service I have to say Concourse Steakhouse breakfast at the Contemporary. We could not get into Chef Mickeys so went next door. The fruit plate had unriped, hard fruit. The bacon was burnt to a crisp and too salty. The potatoes were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The food was just plain BAD. The worst thing is the both DH and I complained to the waitress and she said "really, it doesnt taste good?" Never offered to bring out fresher food, replace it with something else or take it off the bill. I mean, we left all the yucky food on the plate, I was not trying to eat and get off for free!!!

The filet mignon at Chefs De France. I didn't think it was possible to so destroy a good steak....but my DH said that in a French restaurant, it's important to order French food (he had the duck l'orange).

Do either of those books have recipes for the Mickey Belgian Waffles? We have tried and can't find one!

All food at HDDR - except the cornbread and ribs, they are fantastic!

We had 2 really bad sandwiches from Captain Cook's at the Polynesian. It seems like one was turkey and the other maybe ham. I don't know how you could mess up a simple sandwich, but they were just plain nasty!

I will have to agree with the previous posters about Alredo's in Italy. It was not very good at all!
