This week HAS to be better than the last week or so.

DH had to go into hospital for an operation, everything went well but he's now off work for a few weeks.

He needs physiotherapy and driving back from our 50 mile round trip for it last week (he can't drive), an old boy slammed his car into the side of me.

I'd pulled something in my back the week before, so wasn't in a good shape to begin with  Sadly, we have a lot of these 'little accidents' around here since the average age is, well, a lot older than us. I ended up feeling sorry for the old boy, even though it was the classic 'putting the car into forward gear instead of reverse' Poor Darryl got a bump and he was all strapped up following his operation, so why did I end up feeling sorry for the old boy . . .

So if that wasn't enough, on Saturday we had to have our beloved cat Georgie put to sleep. Breaking my heart, but she had to go, kidney failure was setting in and there was no way she was going to suffer. I keep seeing her face, glaring at me in the vets    before the injection went in.

I know to some people she was "only a cat", but we'd had her for 16 years and she was part of our family. We lost her brother Charlie at Easter so poor Felix, our little cat is feeling really lost. He just won't leave our sides at the moment.

Please can someone tell me this week is going to be better . . .

:grouphug: Oh Annie, what a terrible time you are having :wizard: Here's some Pixie Dust for a better week this week  I am so sorry to hear about your cat too - my heart goes out to you as I still remember having to have our beloved dog put to sleep about 3 years ago

I'm thinking of you

Love Mandy

Annie - things will hopefully get better for you soon.

I'm sorry so many bad things are going on for you at the moment

:grouphug:

Let's hope things start to look up soon and that DH is back to normal asap.

Oh Annie sorry to hear the bad week you have been having :( I must agree cats are part of the family, poor Felix and {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} to you all.
Claire ;)

Annie ~ Sending lots and lots of :wizard: and :grouphug: that you have a better week

So sorry to hear about your cat but if she was in pain you made the right decision but nevertheless a very difficult one.

Do hope things improve all round for you and the family :wizard:

Annie, I certainly hope things start getting better for you this week. I know exactly what you mean about your cat, all the cats we've had over the years have always been a big part of our family. I cried buckets when my little baby, Gismo, went missing a couple of years back and I still think about him, even now,

Here's hoping you have a good week soon and wishing your DH a speedy recovery :grouphug:

Annie i really hope this week is much better for you and your DH, Sending you lots of :grouphug: and :wizard:

Oh Annie, what a very tough week for you all :(

I hope things start to improve for you all and that Darryl recovers asap from his op.

Take care :)

Annie, it always seems so cruel the way bad things tend to happen in clusters :(

I wish Darryl a speedy recovery and I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your pet.

Hoping that life sends good luck your way from now on :)
