Help for family planning please!

Our trip to Mexico seems up in the air due to airline prices- and it being the week of high travel.

We've tenativly booked rooms at WDW from Feb 16-22nd doing the silver package.

I'll be doing some serious planning the next few days- as we have until Nov 1st to send the deposit, I need to put it all out on the table for the extended family as to what this is going to cost- outside of rooms/dreammaker/silver plan costs.

I know about sharing meals- my thought is that my budget does not have to include meals outside of the wishes... My kids for instance, will order off the adult menu and split- as will other kids...

I know the wishes are "pooled" in the room- meaning my room- will have 8 wishes per night. They carry over etc.

I am thinking of $100 for souviners and misc per person. This would include say a mickey bar if they want it etc.

the adults- I'm saying an additional $500 per family- for incidentals, drinks, misc etc.

That would be an additonal amount of $700 per family to budget over the room costs. This on top of the $180 per person flights.

What else am I forgetting or what would you add?

I'll do the autograph books for the kids for christmas if we do end up going. My kids- will be getting disney dollars, and I can have the grandparents do the same. Heck- all the kids could get disney dollars from DMIL, and their parents, and this would be their christmast gift.

I really need to sit down and "spend the wishes"...for each room, and figure out if we need to budget for addional stuff.

Thanks
Brandy

Don't forget:

Tips (baggage handlers, airport shuttle drivers, bell hops, waitresses, housekeeping)
Airport Parking
Tolls
Film/ photo developing
Transportation from airport to resort (rental car, taxi, limo, shuttle)
If renting car: Gas
Trading Pins (buy on ebay before going)
Guide Books
Pet-sitting
Gifts for co-workers,friends,classmates

That's all I can think of right off hand.

Have fun!

We always budget an "emergency fund"....this is $50-$100 we set aside and do NOT touch unless there is an absolute emergency. We don't carry it around with us during our trip. If we don't spend it, we go home with money!!
