What else do I need ?

First time resv at OKW 2br in May 8 nites. I find a wonderful list of what's provided but need help from you seasoned vets on what's NOT there. Example I see you can buy a coffee package but yet it shows coffee provided? They only set you up with one cup o joe ?? What have you found over the years that you need and it isn't there? Thanks for all your advice.

You get 1 or 2 packs of coffee, each makes I pot, but it does depend how strong you like your coffee. You only get 1, or maybe 2 of the tiny boxes of laundry powder. Our son lives in Florida, so he usually brings these extra supplies. If I remember, I bring more storage containers, and foil or plastic wrap.

Bring night lights if u have little kids. I bring extra laundry detergent, sandwich bags, tin foil, plastic wrap and paper plates.


But I would think being there 8 days you would go to the grocery store.

coffee needed, coffee filters, creamers, extra sugar, ziploc baggies, salt/pepper shakers (not in villa), you'll get a starter set of toiletries, soap, shampoo, conditioner

You get a "starter" pack of coffee - and its pretty institutional. We bring ground coffee, filter, and sugar, and we buy half and half - usually from the DVC store but sometimes we do a garden grocer order. Some people even bring their Keurig. There is enough detergent for one load of laundry (two if you use half the detergent like I do), but since we do laundry every day, we bring extra detergent and laundry sheets. Any food - including condiments like salt and pepper and ketchup need to be brought. You'll get one of those hotel set of shampoo and conditioner and that will be refreshed with trash and towel or cleaning - if you wash your hair daily, you'll want more shampoo and conditioner.

What ISN'T needed - dishwasher detergent or dish soap - there is usually plenty and if there isn't housekeeping will deliver more. Same with paper towels and toilet paper.

Towels will only get changed on day four and eight - so if you are a fresh towel person, you'll be washing. If you want cleaning products - i.e. lysol or bathroom cleaner - some people bring that - other than the dish soap there won't be much (broom, vaccuum - but no cleaner).
