What DVC point calculator app is everyone using?

Hi all, I previously used D point for years, but it seems it has not been updated with 2025 so I don't see it updating at this point. I can't really find any others. There was a DVC Point Calculator, and the point calculation was completely wrong. Anyone have a good one they use? I do a spreadsheet, I just like to do have a nice calculator as I play with dates on my phone.

I use DVCTripplanner.com and they've been correct for all of my trips for the last 3 years.

I also have used D Point for years and recently contacted the developer to see if he was still maintaining it, since the 2025 points weren’t available still. He did respond in a very timely manner to say that he has added the points to the app, but is required to update hundreds of lines of code before submitting the app. He’s been working on it for quite awhile and doesn’t know how much longer it will take. He said it’s unfortunate because it’s a lot of work and changes nothing regarding the functionality of the app.

So I’m still holding out hope that he’ll get it done and doesn’t just call it quits because I’ve really found it a useful tool.

I love this app too and had also reached out and got the same quick response from him. I am holdng out hope he gets it updated but in the mean time not for tracking purposes but just fun use I use DVCCalculator. It doesn't not have near the great funcionatlig of DPoint but it will do in a pinch.

Thanks for this post! I had no idea any of these existed and have been using rental website to estimate things. This would’ve been so much easier!

Thanks all! Good news about D Point but also feel bad for the guy because it’s so far into 2024, by the time he finishes that amount of work 2026 points will be out! I did not realize how much code it would require. Appreciate him for doing it all these years!

Yes, I mainly like the ability to step your trip forward and backwards day by day on the calculator app. And also easily change length of stay.

I double check using my fingers & toes. It’s my version of sudoku.

or just plug the dates/points into excel - helps visualize the cost of each day.

I save the point charts in my Notes app, then add up the points needed with the calculator app.
