What does your tween dress up as for MHP?

my daughter is 11 almost 12 and struggling to find an outfit for the MHP.
She's too old for princess dresses ( according to her ) so I need ideas - she doesn't like any of mine ( I suggested Disney bounding) I also dont want to spend $$$ on something she will only wear once , we leave for our trip in 2 weeks so so running out of time - HELP !!!

IMG_9093.jpg My teenager went as Alice in Wonderland last year (for Halloween - it's been awhile since we did the MHP :sad1:)

My dd was the Queen of Hearts around that age. She has a love of the Villiains though and has loved them since she was about 8. She has been the Evil Queen from snow white and Maleficent as well. She has thought about being Cruella too

No Disney costume this year as we wont be at any of the parks for Halloween. Next year she is going to be Disgust ( Dad- anger, me- sadness, brother-fear and little sis- joy). She'll be not quite 15 and we will be in Tokyo.

Is she into the Descendants at all?

Pirate costumes are fairly simple to throw together with reusable clothing items. Same with Vanellope from Wreck-it-Ralph. I've put that costume together with reusable separates, and used colored tape to put quick stripes on the leggings. The candy for the hair is trickier but totally doable.

What does she think she would like to do? Does she want to dress up at all, or perhaps just get a cute t-shirt with some fun Halloween leggings?

My DD is now 13.5, and is sad that she doesn't really get to dress up anymore (and she would totally go for a whole princess get-up if I allowed it, but she's always been a bit "young"). However, she loves Disneybounding. More accurately, she would love to cosplay like her cousins, but I'm not willing to put the $$ into it, so she's going for 'bounding instead.

I know its not a Disney costume but my DD dressed up as a minion last year. All you would need is suspenders, a pair of jeans, a yellow beanie and a yellow shirt that you could get at Target it Michaels.

Yes she wants to dress up - I did mention getting a Halloween shirt but she's wants a costume!!

I can give her some ideas from here :)

My DD11 is making her own Mad Hatter costume. She's designing a hat out of cardboard, material, and duct tape. I'm guessing she will be asking me to find some specific clothing choices at some point!
