What are your "best tips" for staying organized?
I work full-time, have two children, have their activities, have my own volunter committments/projects, and in January I return to school to get my MBA.

So....How do you keep track of all you need to do? I am a "To Do" list junkie! I have tried Cozi - which is nice for calendaring but I don't like their To Do list format.
I typically use an Excel spreadsheet but am curious what you use to keep you on track.

Any hot tips??? :goodvibes

Mostly I use a 2 year calander and then write everything in there. That works best for me. I also make lists.

I just use the iCal that came with my Macbook. Simple, but it works for me.:goodvibes

I like that I can see my whole month at a glance and you can colour code all your events and deadlines. Plus I'm on my computer all the time so it's convenient.

Do you have a separate list for different categories, eg: work, kids, etc? Or is it on one master list?

I have a master list and a few sub lists-like groceries, gifts, kid's social transportation. On my phone there is a list of appointments and birthdays.
It's hard to stay organized. sigh

I found a really, really, really cool online To Do program (free) that can sync with my blackberry and my outlook. AND I can print out a hard copy.

It has categories that you can create...it is really cool!
http://www.rememberthemilk.com is the site if anyone is interested.

I am on sick leave (due to return soon), have 2 children 11 and 14 who do quite a bit of sports. DH works 11 to 11 4 days on, 4 days off. When I return, I only do 3 days per week, so that is not tooo bad.

I am OLD fashioned, and keep a magnet calendar on my fridge. Update that EVERY day :thumbsup2 or so it seems. I have the same in mini size in my room. In case I forget on one of them, I see it on the other. I read the small one nightly in bed for the following day.

I am old-fashioned. I put everything on a giant desk calender, as well as on my normal calender and in my planner (in the month section and the daily). I like having my duties listed in as many places as possible-- I don't separate by task or anything, just list everything. I use the "notes" section of my planner to make grocery/shopping/packing lists.
