What does your Princess 1/2 marathon outfit look like?

I don't have all of my outfit so I can't post a pic yet but I plan to wear black tech shirt, black capris, a purple Team Sparkle skirt and a purple tiara. I may attach the tiara to my running cap because I can't imagine what my hair will look like after sweating 13.1 miles with a tiara on top.

I'm not scared to wear a costume. I'm just scared to wear something that hasn't been race tested before, and I'm not sure people around here would think I was sane if I was running around here in a tutu.
I can't wait to see all the cute costumes that people wear though. I like the idea of wearing a tutu for the 5k. Maybe if I come up with a cute costume and it works for the 5k I can recycle it and wear it for the 1/2 too!

I see what you mean, I am going to run in my costume and being a guy wearing a dress running around my town will be a little weird, but I'm going to do it late at night and run about 1 mile to test it out, but when I've had it on, I have done some light indoor running and seems to feel great. Pics will be up shortly of me in the costume.

the hubby is deployed right now so this is my tribute to him as well! I'll have some black tight capri's too and probably a long sleeved white drifit shirt underneath this T.

It's finished!! 5 layers of tulle, 4 layers of 'tinkerbell' green under a layer of sparkly black tulle.

I cut about 2 inches off the top layer of the tutu after this picture, so it looks a little better now. Oh, and I ran in the wings for 30 mins on the treadmill on Thursday and they're not too bad.

I also made my own 'sweaty band' with velvet ribbon and an iron on border.

So excited!!!

I'm super excited for this race. I put a lot of thought into the costume, and thinking of what would look good, this is what I came of. I wanted a Disney princess, but none would have been good to run in that didn't show stomach or was way too expensive.

I was feeling inspired and picked up a tiara at the store last night. It wouldn't even hardly stay on my head while I was standing still I think that's a sign that I should keep it simple. I'll enjoy seeing everyone else in their costumes, and just wear a cute skirt instead of a tutu.

I know I will wish I had a costume, but the length of the course is telling me hell no. If it was 5K- I would be there. But the half? Nah, I can't swing it. I would be miserable.

Mine looks like a tshirt and running shorts. They will be clean though, if that matters. I don't have a cute outfit to wear.

Yes, I am going to be wearing shorts, they will be short enough that it won't show past the skirt, and only for the pocket.
