What does your partner do that drives you NUTS?

OK Ben is a morning person I'm not. So if he gets up before me He sings very loud and his Favorite song to sing is The hills are alive with the sound of SHE BOP In Opera voice.
#2 He is the slowest person ever, It takes him 4ever to get ready to go somewhere.
If we have to be somewhere at 12:00 I tell him 11:00 and we make it by 12:30.

Oh geez. I've done that. Called home and said, find me! How do I get to...! And my beloved wife finds me, and gives me the directions I need. I'll take the talking softly, eh?

Well, my DP is almost perfect, and I can't think of anything that really stands out...maybe not being soooo clingy at times, but that's just the way she loves me. I on the other hand, do so many things that drive her up the wall!!! I talk too loud, spend too much, have to be right and it's all about me!! Honestly, I'm working on those things....so there you have it, I'M the lucky one, to have someone who lives with all those flaws, and yet, she loves me perfectly!!

Oh, let me count the ways......

He leaves the toliet seat up
he takes his socks off in the middle of a room AND leaves them there
He loses things and blames ME for moving them (if he would have put it where it belonged in the 1st place, I wouldn't have to move anything.)
He can nap just about anywhere/anytime (like that one time in lamaze class!)


I'm sure there are more, but he must not have done them today!

Let's see.
There are really only a few:

It drives me crazy when Jen stops in the middle of a doorway (and it never fails - It's ALWAYS right in the middle of a doorway!), takes her shoes off and leaves them there. I trip over them ALL THE TIME. I'll be humming along and suddenly exclaim "DAMN IT!!!" Jen'll say, "OOOPS!! I left my shoes in the way again, didn't I?"

She's also bad about setting her keys down just anywhere, then running frantically through the house yelling "Where's my keys? Have you seen my keys?!?! Help me find my keys!!!" Seriously, we have a table right inside the front door with a bowl that is there SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of dropping keys there so they don't get lost!! Ay dios mio!

But I love her to pieces. I just can't tell if it's BECAUSE of these little annoyances or DESPITE them!

Oh, and I should add that I'm sure she'd fill an entire page with a post about all of the "little" things I do to drive her nuts!!

I finally got my feet back down thank you! Though James didn't mind the interim.

DH gets home much earlier than I do, so he cooks dinner. When I get home from work he wants me to IMMEDIATELY sit down and eat. No mail, no e-mail, no restroom, straight to eating right this second!!
I HATE that! He KNOWS I hate that and he still does it.

I am the money manager. He likes to gripe about money, so I frequently offer to let HIM take over the bills and the budget. But NO, he doesn't want to be responsible for it, he just wants to gripe about it!

We've been together for 18 years, so obviously whatever irks us about the other one isn't intolerable.
