What does your dog do in the car?

Ours hangs out the window, or on longer journeys will lie down & go to sleep

It's important to put your dog in a seatbelt. You can buy them at most pet stores. Mine just sit quietly in their seatbelt and enjoy the ride.

Lilo is usually in her crate in the car as well, and she sleeps.

When we hold her she looks out the window, then usually settles into our lap and falls asleep. So I guess that it's normal for some dogs.
She actually really enjoys the car, she gets excited to go, but then sleeps the whole time!
I can't complain though, much better than the barfing problems that some people have!
