What does WDW need most?

Magic Kingdom: Monsters Inc. ride, just like the one going into DCA, put it in the old 20K site.

Epcot: Takedown the SSE wand. Start serious talks about a new WS thrill or dark ride. Possible a river ride in canada (rumor).

MGM: Update star tours, it's a great concept but it's geting dated. Put in the Indiana Jones Ride from DL, in the stunt show spectacular area.

AK: Keep on improving the park overall, it's a good park, but with some TLC it could be great.

Resorts: Continue the updates of the older resorts, like the ones at the contemporary and polynesian.

General: work out the kinks of the Magical express.

How about cans of Beverley at all the drinks carts at WDW, and in the dispensers at the resort hotels? Its a pain to have to trek over to Epcot to get some!

It's one of the sodas from around the world, some puke inducing , that they have for the WDW guests to sample at the Coke Cool Station at Epcot. It's the one from Great Britain, although I can't remember what it tastes like.

More choices for familys of 5 for resorts. It drives me nuts that there isn't a more "budget" option than the Deluxe resorts - unless we want POR which is a small room! Our hands down favorite resort is AKL and now that my daughter is older than 3, we can't stay there without getting a Deluxe Savannah Room...we can only afford the standard!

I have a family of six and it would actually cost just as much to go to a value resort as it would to just rent out a cabin at Ft Wilderness. I would be forced to pay for TWO rooms at most resorts.

...How about a direct bus from the theme parks to Downtown Disney--I hate having to go back to the resorts & transfer. That would save so much time.

They used to have buses from the theme parks to DTD, only people were parking at DTD and taking the bus to the theme parks and ripping off Disney for the parking fee. Plus making it nearly impossible to drive over to DTD, park your car and shop.

Along this idea, why can't they discount the park passes for those 3 and 4 year old children that are not tall enough to ride the 40" rides? My DD is 38" tall and we paid the same admission for her as our DS 7 and she only rode mostly the rides that our DS 20 months could go on (and he was in the park for free!) Maybe have a height verification at the park entrances so you know what to expect?

Only problem with this is that many others would expect a discounted ticket because they could not ride certain rides. I get motion sick, so I can't do Big Thunder Mt, Space Mt, Star Tours, Body Wars, Mission: Space, etc. Should I get a discount?

Children already get a discounted ticket for 3-9 yr olds. Many 9 yr olds can ride more things than I can.

The only way to make this happen is to go back to the old individual ticket for attractions. If you can't ride the E-ticket rides, you wouldn't need to buy those tickets.

Light rail connecting Crescent Lake area with MK, AK and DD, along with some of the other deluxe resorts instead of busses. Either that or some other exciting transportation option other than buses.......

Hehe... good point Deb. I can just imagine it: The weak-stomach discounted ticket. Or the don't-have-much-time-today discounted ticket. Or the I'm-just-here-for-dinner-and-the-fireworks discounted ticket.

Get rid of those ugly "tombstones" at the entrance of Epcot. The "Leave a Legacy" stones have totally ruined the "Ah!" factor of entering Epcot by the front door.

to Bicker, what i was trying to say was we always got a park hopper. whether for 5, 6, 7, days etc. if we didnt use it, we always brought back our tickets for the next year. i know now its i guess its the MYW or something, it changed just after we got home last summer. i know now you can PAY extra for NO. EXP.DATE, but we had it for FREE before. no big deal, we would stay pay now anyway if we wanted no exp. i just thought the tickets were fine the way they were.We were all just talking in work about all the DONUT places, and how we all should of BOUGHT into one , then we could all stay at the POLY.without worrying about money..........haha

FREE?? No, you were paying for it, and so was everyone else whether they needed it or not. It was included in the price of your tix. That was the problem. The vast majority of WDW visitors buy the ticket for the exact amt. of days and then use them. Now the tickets are cheaper for those who don't want or need expiration. The prices and options are much better now than in the days of park hoppers or UMH tix. Remember those 6 and 7 day hoppers came with pluses, no plain hoppers. How many people have used up hoppers with pluses left sitting in the drawers at home? They paid for the plus feature when they bought the tix and never took advantage of them. Now we have the option to choose what tix are best for us.

As someone who has been visiting for over 33 years, how about a reduced price for age 55 and over. Unfortunately, many of us now have to limit bumpy and fast rides because of bad backs, knees, necks, etc. (I know, it's no fun getting older) but, you can still love Disney.

If WDW reviews these boards, they really need to get a new coffee supplier!

As for the folks who want monorail expansion. It won't happen, it is far too expensive. We couldn't even get a replacement for 2KLUTS for 10 YEARS! The Disney Co. is not going to fork out the hundreds of millions that a monorail expansion will cost.

I can understand the cost factor, but I can't understand why valued customers are treated like cattle and herded into standing room only buses after waiting in long lines for the bus? Surely a company that can afford big, new rides like Expedition Everest can afford to get their customers to those rides in a more convenient manner. How about a light rail system like the ones at the airports?

1-More rides like the old World of Motion-rides that everyone can go on
2-Better fast food restuarants-they should make deals with chains like KFC, Subway, etc. so at least you know what you will be getting
3-Expand the Monorail to MGM
4-better hotel options for families of 5
5-refillable mugs in the parks

How about some Jr. Suites, or just some rooms big enough for a rollaway at the moderate resorts? Or couldn't they add trundle beds to a few rooms at each resort? Why are all the trundles at POR only? With all of these wonderful resorts to choose from, sadly in about a year, our options are going to be severely limited.
