What does WCC do for birthdays?

hopefully nothing embarrasing! what do they do for adult birthdays?? thanks!

I would assume it is like any other restaurant -- depends on the server and how busy they are. We were there for our 25th anniversary last year and it was not even mentioned (but then we didn't stay for dessert because the service had been so bad and we had already been there two hours). I do believe that I have read about them having people stand up and announcing it is their birthday, etc. But again, it depends on the server and how into it they are.

Yeah, I second that comment....don't hold your breath. WE were there last October for my son's 10 th birthdy and they did absolutely nothing. I bought a cake and everything from them, but no one came over or said anything. It was so uneventful that I dont even remember if our server said happy birthday to my ten year old. Service wasn't rude or anything , just very slow and not very attentive to our needs. OUr meal took forever there, and wasn't as good as it had been in the past. Maybe you will have a better experience. We're skipping this one this time, for the first time ever! Good Luck.

I was there for my 40th in March. I got an extra piece of cake and at the end of my meal the server made me stand while the restaurant sang Happy Bday to me, only when it is time to say the name everyone stopped and I had to sing "me" in place of the name. Nothing to embarassing. :rotfl2:

i'll be going for a late lunch, so maybe they wont be too busy. The last time we went for a late lunch it was not busy at all! :wizard:

We ate there on October 6th for my DH's 40th birthday, and it was great! We had 12 people in our party, and I brought party hats and other favors. Our server, Sassy Sara, even wore a party hat!

They made my DH go to the front of the restaurant and lead everyone in a round of Hokey Pokey. They also sang Happy Birthday to him and brought him a little chocolate cake topped with ice cream and a candle. The funniest part was at the end of the song. Sassy Sara and Larry from CT took his cake and started eating and going on and on and on about how good is was. The look on my DH's face was priceless! They ended up bringing him another dessert to go.

We had an awesome time celebrating at WCC!

:lmao: I saw them do this to a boy who had just turned 13. The look on his face was hilarious! One of the servers had a second piece of cake behind his back. They also made him ride a hobby horse around the restaurant singing happy birthday to himself as loudly as he could. Bless his heart, he was a great sport and seemed to enjoy himself.

So, no, not embarassing at all. ;)
