What does "reversal" mean on my Simon gift account?

I was looking on my Simon gift account history to see what offers i paid for but did not credit. Several of the charges say reversal on them. What does this mean?
Also does anyone know what company "TLG Shoppers ADV Purch" is?
I am new at this and I believe that I will have to get way more organized.

TLG is trilegiant I assume that is shoppers advantage http://www.shoppersadvantage.com/ and reversal just means the charge was credited back to your card. Some of the companies will charge an amount to your card to make sure it is active that amount can be a dollar or $16 for some offers. It is usually credited back in a week and it will say reversal when that happens.
