What does it mean when there's no wait time listed in the app?

I've been watching wait times the last few days to see how things are going. We are leaving Saturday for our first-ever Disneyland trip. What does it mean when no wait time is listed? For instance, there is none listed now for Rise of the Resistance or Space Mountain, but the park doesn't close for more than an hour and it also doesn't say "temporarily closed" like it does when the ride is down.

It means the rides are closed. Rise of the Resistance usually closes at around 9PM. These few days, Space Mountain is being transitioned to Hyperspace Mountain so it also closes early.

Sometimes no wait time will be listed if the ride if a walk on. This is commonly seen in the morning and I suspect that sometimes it’s just a matter of the CM in charge not yet inputing the first wait time of the day.

I don't get why they close Rise of the Resistance early, though. That is one of the most popular rides.

It requires a lot of overnight maintenance.
