There's probably a thread on this already, and if there is my apologies (and could someone mayhaps point me in the right direction of said thread?).

But what does everyone use to keep track of their park plans for the day?
Characters You Want to See, and their schedule
Fast Pass Reservations
Dining Reservations
Extra Magic Hours
Showtimes, etc.

Whether it be an app, or a planner you bought, or a notecard you made, I'd love to see what everyone uses while in the parks.

At this point MDE app seems to work fine for me. Normally I put backup of my ADRs in my phones calendar. But that is only because I can put an alarm on it and it caches the next week or so locally. So I can check it with or without good service

I put together an excel sheet with park hours of park we're visiting, lunch, dinner and FP+ reservations for each day of the week...includes hotel reservation numbers and flight information as well...keep it on my work email so I can access it if I need from my phone...Happy planning!

2 3/4 x 3 3/4 inch card that will fit in lanyard pouch. If more info than usual needed, would do a double sized card folded. Saves phone battery, makes nice souvenir. I enjoy decorating them.

The mde app. You can add special things you want to see like fireworks & parades, and all your reservations are right there!

I usually have everything in an excel file. So i'll email the file to myself, download it to my phone, and open it with kingston office (you can use whatever spreadsheet viewer/editor you have on your phone). If im going with friends or family, i'll usually jot down the touring plan on notecards so people know where to meet up if they get separated or want to skip out. I'm one of those ridiculous people that never deviates from my plan. If the card says i'm going to be at btmr at 3:15 and at aloha isle at 3:55, you can fraidy cat your way out of BTMR and just catch me stuffing a dole whip into my face at 4

Pen and paper

Then I rewrite it once before we go so it is neat and snap a pic with my phone as well

I use excel, then I forward that to the kids and DH. I pull it up on my phone, I also print a copy of each day and being that with me for when the phone battery is running low. I don't do elaborate plans, just times for shows and stuff we want to see, FP and ADRs, anything I don't want to forget like snacks I want to grab that I heard on the DIS or drinks to try and where they are. It really is just a large brain dump.

I'm afraid to rely on the MDE app for everything! I have visions of arriving and all my FPs are gone. I'm going to need to do the old fashioned thing and print everything out before I go.

I bought a small plastic 4 x 6 photo album that only cost $1 at Wal-Mart and printed all my information onto index cards. It was fun putting it together. I used clip art and pictures and made it like a scrapbook. I also included all our ADR's which came in handy for our 8:15 a.m. Tusker House breakfast. At the gate they did not have our name down but once I showed them the confirmation number they let us through. It was small and light and could be thrown into the backpack. I also used a bigger binder that included all of our travel arrangements, documents, and contact information, but I did not take that into the parks. Now they are scrapbooks that we love to look over and remember our trip to WDW. :cloud9:

If your FP+ are all gone, then you'll know it sooner in MDE than with paper. Since that lets you look at a copy of your information in the Disney Database.

The plans/itinerary page of MDE will list everything you have reservations or fastpass for, plus allows you to add anything else plain text with the time.

When I am on that page I take a screenshot on my iPhone and make that screenshot my lock screen (iPhone screen that shows up before you unlock the screen) wallpaper. That way I don't have to run my battery down using the MDE app and can take a look at plans via a quick glance without unlocking my phone.

Works like a charm and allows my batt to make it thought the day without the need for a recharge. Those apps, especially since MDE app uses data, really pull juice.

love this idea!

Good tip! I keep everything on the MDE app, plus back-up with notebook and index cards too. I'm going to put my index cards into the suggested album also! Thanks!

This is brilliant.

Personally everything is on a excel spreadsheet that I have on OneDrive.

You can't edit from your phone but can from your computer. I may just decide to put the excel document on my phone?

I will use the TP line app for the most part so the only thing I need my list for is a FP+ and ADR quick check. I won't trust the disney app and will make sure to have backups of the information.

I use MDE and the tripit app. But it is also useful to have a paper copy of your plans/FP+ reservations. I had times where my signal wasn't great and I couldn't get into MDE to see my plans and trying to do so ran down my battery. All I was trying to do was check my plans. So having a paper copy of plans as well, is definitely useful.
