We just booked our July trip on Southwest (PHI-MCO)...We decided to go with the flight that lists "1 stop", but it doesn't list an airport. It's just one flight numbers so I assume that we don't have to change planes. Is there a way to see where the stop is? Just curious....THANKS!

You are right, you will make a stop, but not have to change planes.

I'm sure there is an easier way, but in the past when I've tried to figure it out, I have just looked up 'dummy' flights from my departure city, to other cities that I KNOW SWA has layovers/connecting flights.

For example--one of my preferred routes is PVD to RSW (Providence to Ft Myers). I know on that route that the connecting flights generally stop in either Baltimore or Orlando. So I tried to book a dummy flight from PVD to BWI or MCO, and that's how I found where my flight stopped.

Some of our other more savvy SWA fliers may have an easier way to find this out.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. It looks like the other flights with layover/plane changes are Raleigh.

There IS an easier way. Just call Southwest and they'll tell you where the flight stops. Its how I found out where our PHL-LAS flight stopped when we went to Vegas last year.

But calling is no fun at allpirate:

Couldn't we use some sort of secret signal or hieroglyphics?

Enjoy your trip disneyagain.

The way I do it is to go to southwest's complete timetable here. Scroll down to the Orlando section and then use the find feature (Ctrl+F) and put in your flight number. It will show your departing airport and any other airport the flight stops at.

The OP mentioned the flight started in PHI, which is in Brazil. Assuming PHL was intended, I saw stops in RDU and PIT.

Sure....cloud the issue with reason and logic.....;) :lmao:
