what documents ?

hi all, just over 3 weeks till we have our first trip home (akv) . just a question on what documents we need to take. we have our membership cards and reservation but do we need to take anything else other than what you would normally take i.e. passport , insurance and the like ? just dont want to have missed anything.

No think you have everything covered. I know when we checked in asked for confirmation of reservation & member cards & SSR asked for passports BC did not !

Unless you plan on hiring a car - then you will need to take the paper part of your driving license.

I always take the receipts of any electronic items I have to prove that we purchased them in the UK should I be stopped by Customs on the way back in to this country; it is up to you to prove this if you cannot they can seize your equipment. However, we have never been stopped in seven years of going but I just know if I don't that will be the year I am and they will take something off me.

The other thing is to take emergency contact numbers of credit card companies or bank cards if you are taking them so if you do lose them you can ring them straight away.

Also a black and white copy of your passport should that be stolen then you have all the details to give to the embassy.

Also the copy of any tickets you have bought showing the barcodes and numbers. If you buy a Disney ticket and it gets lost, damaged or stolen you can get a replacement if you supply the number of your card.

Cautious I know but I like to have all the bases covered.

I always make a not of any ticket numbers and passport numbers, also if you have any travellers cheques make a note of the cheque numbers and keep in a separate place to the cheques just in case you lose them (also make a note of the ones you have used).
