My usual 'work attire' consists of old jeans, or shorts, and one of the oldest t-shirts I own. Or one of the free t-shirts I get from a friend who works for a beer distributor. Gotta love free
I work in a warehouse environment. When I wear something new, it just screams 'Hey grease, dirt and paint! look!! a new place for you to take up residence!!!'
We can wear pretty much anything as long as it's clean and in one piece (although we can get away with jeans with holes as long as they're "supposed to be that way"). In the winter, I do jeans/sweaters/Converse Chuck Taylor hi-tops, and in summer, capris/t-shirts/flip-flops.
It depends on the day... on Sundays, I wear "Sunday" dress or a suit. For meetings, I wear a suit. For Wednesday nights, I wear business casual. For regular work days, I wear anything from khaki/top/heels to skirt/top/heels.
On days when I'm cleaning out closets and running errands, I wear jeans and a sweatshirt/tshirt.
In other words, I use my best judgement each day as to what is most appropriate for me to wear LOL.
I do childcare in my home, so I usually wear yoga pants and t-shirts/sweatshirts. It's a banner day if I can get from 7:45am to 5:30pm without having any bodily fluids, food, dirt, art supplies, etc. end up on my clothes! Plus I like to be able to get on the floor with the kiddos and play comfortably and without worrying about messing up my clothes.
DH comes home and changes into sweats or jeans, and at the end of MY work day I take a shower and put on nicer clothes!
We really don't have any set requirements but I try to look nice since I am at work! Right now I'm wearing a skirt, t shirt and sandals. I'll either wear this or capri pants, t shirt and sandals in the summer. I try to only wear jeans on fridays when it's cooler out.
At the hospital, I wear white scrubs. At the office, I wear whatever I felt like putting on that day - might be dressy, might be denim shorts. Today it was tan Mickey capris and a pink and white striped Mickey polo shirt.
Neat but casual-dockers and nice sweaters or collared shirts most days. Jeans and sneakers are allowed on Fridays, but were still supposed to wear nice tops-no T-shirts or sports jerseys.
