I want to be:

cuddling some grandkids (My oldest will be 35 by then so I better be!!) :goodvibes

getting ready for my "snowbird" trip to Florida! :sunny:

and of course DISing....maybe by then I'll know how to post pics!!! :teeth:

I had a dream that DH and I were retired. We lived in a bungalow on the Italian coast and it was warm and sunny. Our activity for the days consisted of riding around the little village in bathing suits and eating out of little cafes! **sigh** That has become my dream when I am awake! :teeth:

BUT....DH is a work-a-holic and says he does not see himself ever retiring. Sooooo...my hope is I outlive him and go to Italy and live in a little bungalow beside the sea and ride a bike in a bathing suit and eat out of little cafes for the rest of my life after he is gone.... :rotfl:

I see myself retired in Orlando. Of course I may just be retired and still living in Maryland. But you asked what I want to be doing.

BTW notice in both scenarios above I'm retired! I've got 8 years, 4 months and 8 days left before I can retire and I'm not going to work any longer then I have to.

I'll be 24, so probably in class working on my law degree. :)

My son will be 22, hopefully I will just be ALIVE and about to celebrate my 60th birthday!! :p

In 10 years I will have teenagers , so I will pretend the OP said 20 and I am hoping my DH and I will still be healthy enough to travel and continue enjoying life together...

Visiting one sucessful college student and attending another's college graduation. Working full time without being overwhelmed because no children will be needing care, traveling with dh.

Married to BF, nice well paid job in London and maybe thinking about a baby or two??? :lovestruc

My husband will be retired from the Military :cool1: so we will be finally be able to settle down somewhere. Hopefully, our daughter will be graduating college.

I'd love to be retired, doing what I want, whih would include travelling.

DD will be 14, so I'll probably be banging my head against the wall wondering where I went wrong.

I'll be 38. Hmmm.

I would like to have two kids by then - ideally a boy and a girl!

I'd like to be settled into a home in our dream neighborhood. It has tree-lined streets, shops and restaurants within walking distance, and all kinds of people doing things outside like riding bikes and walking dogs. We can't afford it right now but someday we will!

Oh, and the house should have a big front porch, where we'll drink lemonade and iced tea in the summer and put our mums and pumpkins in the fall!

I'd like to be a stay at home mom, but if not, I hope to have a teaching job very close by in a good school.

And a dog that loves the whole family but secretly loves me the best of all! :rolleyes1 That's all!

Retired from teaching and reminiscing about trips to Hawaii and Italy!

I want to be like the Energizer Bunny

I'd like to think I'll be married and perhaps a mother by then. Careerwise, I'm not sure. I'm enjoying being a character performer...but I suppose eventually, I'll need to move on. Perhaps by then I'll be a children's author or at least have a few stories in magazines.

Working as an orthopedic surgeon, maybe having done or just getting ready to do a sports medicine fellowship. I'll have been on active duty 8 years at that point so I will be a Major in the Army.

Professionally, it's easy to see kind of where I'll be but personally is much harder. Hopefully I'll find that illusive guy that can support my career and shares my interests. I think I want a guy willing to be a SAHD but will probably end up with another professional. Can we say nanny?

Hopefully in 10 years I will be working full time (love staying home with kids, but miss working) , bringing in lots of money (a little guilty that DH works so hard) , watching my girls (teenagers by then-GASP) , and making plans for annual DW trips.

I will continue traveling and having fun like I do (ie family time, biking, exercising, etc.).

I will earn my graduate degree and start my new adventure.

I'd still continue being involved with Girl Scouts as my youngest dd will be 10 and I will do more recruiting of girls and leaders with disadvantaged backgrounds and diversity in our city or even lead 2 or 3 troops to serve their needs.

I hope to wean myself from the computer more. lol :badpc:
