What do you value MM at?

Ok, so I can either upgrade my 5-day ticket upon arrival at the parks to an AP. Or, I could wait to use the MM on the Saturday and then upgrade after.

BUT, if I upgrade to the AP, I'll save 15% on food/20% on purchases for 2 days (savings of $15 at most). I'll also get PP+ for two days...(value in eye of beholder ;) for me, not much lol)

What do you value MM at? More than $15? lol

Is MM Magic Morning? What time of year? Summer - Magic Morning is well worth it. Off-season I'd say not so much.

For me, MM is worth more than $15. Our family focuses on a lot of Fantasyland rides during MM. Either that or we'll go on Star Tours & Autopia and then hit Fantasyland. Definitely worth $15.

There have been reports that AP holders are able to download PP photos taken prior to October 4 (the price change), so photos taken during prior to upgrading to an AP might still be available to you.

How often you visit is a significant factor. I usually stay onsite, but only take advantage of EMH when there is a brand new attraction. So currently the value is zero.

carnival rides, $4.00 a spin, a minimum of 10 attractions available= $40.00
all those rides under your belt, rest of the day to focus elsewhere.
With the AP, only Wednesday mornings will be anything similar to MM. And with an AP, you have frequent visits, so not so much sweating the small stuff.

But wouldn't you have that itch, what is it like to have something exclusive, like a MM. But then I never find the MM to be any better than Wednesday mornings.

So it is all about the Wednesdays....that is my algebraic equation response

We typically do not spend a whole lot of time in FL, so MM does not mean much to me.
I have an AP, and just start at the park that does not have EMH/MM. I get there at rope drop, and can get a lot done.
With 5 days to explore the parks...I would upgrade on the first day.

I am in the same boat! We drive in on a Saturday and I was planning to upgrade on Tuesday AFTER we use our MM, but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to access my Photopass pictures from the first 2 days...plus we planned Ariel's Grotto on Sunday night and my daughter LOVES being presented with her picture at the dinner.

My ONLY hangup is the PP+, before the new AP structure was released on Sunday I had the decision made to upgrade after using our MM, but now I'm perplexed again.

For me the 15% savings too could be closer to $30-$40 depending on if we keep that ADR at Ariel's Grotto Sunday night (That's going to be close to $20 savings right there). Or we could switch that reservation to another night after we've upgraded. (I actually just added another ADR for Ariel on Friday afternoon, figure the crowds will be high so that may be a good use of time versus standing in lines).

When we got our annual passes in February, we arrived the day before the prices went up. I talked to GS at the ticket booth about it and they were able to upgrade me and give us separate MM passes for the specific day we were going.

Hmmm...wonder if we stop there on Saturday night or Sunday morning if they would give us that. If the line at the ticket counter isn't a long wait, may be worth it to ask!

Same here, we spend little time in FL and since that's almost all that's open during MM it's worth very little to us.
Last time we used MM we ended up sitting at a table drinking coffee, watching people in line for Frozen and waiting for them to open the rest of the park.

We have littles and my Daughter is begging us to take her on Peter Pan, so the MM (I think) would be very beneficial to us.

I still think MM is good even without FL. It's been years since we've gone with no kids, but we used to just go to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain over & over (with a trip on Star Tours thrown in for fun).
