Anyone have an opinion about using the lens cleaning solution that an optician gives you for cleaning your glasses
? The bottle says isopropanol on it..I am guessing it is isopropanol and water. Camera store guy told me it is safe for cleaning camera lenses, but he didn't seen too sure

) but i just read you don't have to wet it so who knows...i use optical glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth after using the lens pen brush side to brush off any crud that might be there( holding lens upside down so it falls off) and then either buff with other end of pen if it's ok or clean with microfiber/glass cleaner. so far nothing is damaged or scratched.
) just remember to wash occasionally in the washer or you have gunk build up that can scratch
