..about this trip

I´m in the early planning of our trip in early Dec 06.
Its DH and I travelling from Germany. We have beeing to WDW twice before for 7 and 10 nights. (99 and January)

My plans are so far:

6-8 nights (depending on flights) at POP or ASt (have been to both before loved it)
then
5 nights with rented points at OKW Studio
then
3 nights AKL (got an AP voucher already and hoping for a great rate)
then
2 or 3 nights (depending on flights) at HRC

I budged 1.700 to 2.300$ depending on the discounts I would get.

Does this sound got to you, or would you change resorts or sequence?

Also thinking about staying offsite for some part of the trip to save some money but dont really know if I would love to do so as the room part might be only around 30% of the whole budget.

Here is my thought.

If your going to be staying both onsite and offsite, plan you offsite stay first because if you do it the other way, you will really miss the perks of staying onsite. Also, I would limit the amount of resort spliting because it does take time out of your vacation to go from one to another espeacially if you going from onsite to offsite.
