At the beginning of this school year, I had just got home from school, and I looked out my window. So I see these two boys in my front yard, maybe 7th or 8th graders and I only remember one had red hair. They both had airsoft guns. I look away from the window for one second, and when I look back, they were gone. I looked out in the back and side yards, but they were nowhere to be seen. It was really freaky. My mom said they probably just ran away, but I only looked away for one second. What do you think about this?

My two cents is you probably were just so taken aback by seeing two guys with airsoft guns out front what seemed like a second to you was actually a few seconds.
