We will be in WDW the third week of March. We are taking family for the first time and want to make the most of it. However, it is during spring break season. I know that it should not be effected by the normal Easter/ Passover crowd but with about 2 million college kids out of school, plus all younger kids with families, is it going to be crazy? I have also heard that this is a preferred time for Canadians.:confused3

We have been during spring break before but I don't remember. DH says he remembers standing in a lot more lines than in Oct. but cannot remember how bad those lines were.

I am hoping that with the economy as it is people may be staying home more.

What do you think?

Expect crowds and longer waits for rides, especially when compared to October.

Really bad?

(45+ min. on average?- I know Soarin' is a different story all the time)

Or just longer, because last October we virtually walked on everything. Maybe 20 min. for Peter Pan. I know not to expect that.

My dates are March 22-27, and I am expecting big crowds. I have been several times for spring break (I am a teacher), and it's just very popular.

October is one of the best times to visit WDW, so you will be very disappointed if you expect crowd levels like October. Yes the economy is bad, but the deals Disney is offering to our Military Families and the 4/3 deal the parks are going to be crowded. I think it will be manageable but don't expect October in March.

Expect double the crowds of October!!

I'm taking two extra kids to help entertain my own kids, and I'm sending them all to DQ and the water parks as well as the main parks. I expect to ride very little in the main parks, as I refuse to stand in any line over 30 minutes and have taught my children the same. March is a month for those who can find happiness merely by being at WDW, IMHO.

The third week of March is March Break for elementary/high schools for most of Ontario, Canada. We have been twice and although the parks are busy - it is quieter in the early mornings -- use of Fast Passes and strategic :rotfl2: planning of which park to go when - can help reduce lines. We found that once noon hit, the parks seemed to be packed and that's when we would high tail it out for the afternoon and return at night. If you tend to sleep in, definitely the lines will be long, restaurants packed!! It was much different in November!

Good luck and no matter what - it's getting away to WDW!!:yay:
