I'm in early planning mode(unfortunatly not for disney  ) for DD's Birthday and the end of August.Unfortunatly i have to start thinking about it this early so i can get invites out before they break up for summer.

There's a limo company not far from our house with a pink limo.DD's are always saying they would love to go in it.
Anyway dh and i have spoken and know roughly how much they charge.
So we were thinking about arranging it for their birthday as a supprise,we would get the limo to pick them and a few of their friends up from our house and they would get a drive around for an hour and then dropped off at some party place(not decided yet),maybe Bowling. The parent's would then pick the children up at the end of the day from bowling Or, i would call the company and ask for a straight drop off and then picking up and driven home.

Afterall that, would you consider doing it for an 8 year old's birthday or do you think they are a bit young yet.?

I would definately consider it depending on the cost. Girls that age love things like that and if they've been specifically talking about that limo you know they will appreciate it!

what a lovely pressie, I know what you mean about being 'too young' nut if they've already commented on the limo at least you know it'll be appreciated. I'd make sure they have a nice bottle of champers on board (like the nice non alcoholic sparkling wine you can buy - I think its called Schloer??) and treat them like real grown ups.
get them to have a girly day of pampering first like their hair done nice and a mini manicure!

If it within budget then why not! Your DDs and their friends will be talking about it for a long time to come :sunny:

I think it sounds lovely..and I don't think 8 is too young as it is just like playing pretend which girls do all the time.. :)

The company do supply a bottle of bubbly, non alcoholic of course in the Limo.

Love the idear of a bit of pampering for them, maybe we could do that instead of bowling.I know there's a hair and beauty salon near us that do that sort of thing for childrens birthday's.

Sounds like a great idea Vicky. I know I would have loved to go in a pink limo when I was 8 - still would now though - any chance of an invite ;)

Joh ~ That's why if I was there I could protect them from you :thumbsup2

Wow !! That sounds like a fab idea. I bet they'd love it. I would go for it, they're not children for very long, so make the most of spoiling them :)

Just called the company and there getting a new pick limo shortly that will include Pink leather Seats,Pink Televisons. :rotfl2:

They will decorate the inside with Balloons and streamers ,the driver will be fully uniformed and will serve the kid's the bubbly. They will drive around for an hour and will stop at different places for photo's and if there's anywhere the kid's want to stop like friends or family they can do that.

They said that if i want the kid's to feel more grown up i can follow behind in my own car.No chance i want to go in it. :lmao:

Best of all as i'm local,he offered me a discount price for it. :teeth:

Its lovely - very Penelope Pitstop!
