We want to stay at Old Key West arriving date would be Nov 2, departing date would be Nov 9. April 9, a Sunday would be the date to put in my request for our stay. DVC is closed on Sundays so would I have to want till Monday to make my request if I was to call it in? Or should I email my request on Friday?

Also we will needed a 3 bedroom villa for our stay, what do you think my chances are of getting one at OKW for the above dates?
BTW I only have enough points to stay there the other resorts are more points than I have available.

I would call on April 3rd and do a day by day. While there are more GVs at OKW than any other DVC calling at 7m may be difficult to get one.

You are correct that if the 7 month (or 11 month) date falls on weekend or holiday when MS is closed, you have to wait until the next day they are open. (But, when banking points and that day falls on day when they are closed, you must call the day before they are closed -- or earlier.)

But, I would go with Nanjo's advice and start booking day by day. If you can't get some of the nights, get on the waitlist for those nights.
