that FTP will be extended??? I am already booked for Nov 16-21 but would love to be handed three free days....do you think it's possible??? Naaaa, me neither!!!! LOL.

I am right there with ya.

I got an excellent rate at the Swan for my solo trip Dec 26 to Jan 3 so part of me wants the FTP to be extended to the end of the year, but the other part of me says no because then I would have to make a very tough decision on if I would want to move to a Disney resort or stay at the Swan and only have a 5 min walk to Epcot and MGM. It will be real tough if that happens.

From what I have seen and read on this and other boards, it seems doubtful that they would extend it, but you never no.

I guess all we can do is wait and see.

I disagree I just have a funny feeling that they are going to extend it for a little while longer. I dont think until the holidays but maybe till right before thanksgiving. This FTP was the best thing I think that Disney could have done. I know that they were starting to lose money becuase not that many people were going. The FTP changed all that.

And if they dont extended it I see them doing another promotion right after this one ends that will keep people booking vacations.

A lot will depend on if the reduced rate package has brought enough volume to offset the reduced revenue from rooms. I think it will since filled rroms usually means more spending throughout the resort.
All three major parks, WDW, Universal and Sea World have unofficially reported very good Memorial Day Weekend attnedance, a good sign. If attendance keeps growing they may not need to offer such deep incentives after the summer season.
