What do you think off the newly refurbished Haunted Mansion

So what do you think? I notice a few additions that I thought are very cool.

The WDW HM had a refurb. I'm not aware of anything on the DL HM.

I think they were added after the Holloween tear down but I could be wrong. The bride room has a few new items that I notice, a new bride, numerous marriage portraits where the husband loses his head. I think this is all new, but I could be confusing it with the WDW.

I think those went up last year before the holiday refurb (not sure when though) - I remember the bride and portraits at February last year and those were new since I visited before.

Sorry. We just moved back out here in July and got or AP's in Oct so I think by the time we went it was already decorated for Nightmare Before Christmas. We did visit DL Dec 06 so we awesumed it was new. (new for us anyway) As we moved from Florida we were AP holders at WDW and these addition are unique to DL. Very cool, I like it.

Actually, they have the attic stuff at the HM at WDW now too. We were just there last month and it's pretty much the same in the attic.

The attic scene is definitely 100 times better than it used to be.

The attic is cool, I like it witht e more recent additions but conversely I miss the dead guys jumping from behind the gravemarkers they took out on the ride.

I noticed a few more things in the grave yard too. The ghosts on bikes, the cats on the coffin. We are vets of both WDW and DL but I guess we missed this rehab because of timing and the holidays.

The last time we'd been on HM was Feb. 2006 at DL, then Nov. 2006 at WDW. So we didn't get to see the new changes until our anniversary trip. DH & I went on HM numerous times last week (about 6 times I think ) and we both agree that we really like the changes to the attic. The new bride is so creepy and the portraits are a perfect touch. We also like how Madam Leota's crystal ball floats, well when the effect is working. On the days we were there it was working Monday, not working Tuesday & Wednesday, then working again on Thursday & Friday. I guess there are intermittent problems with the effect?

DH also commented on the ghosts on bicycles. We don't recall seeing them before, but it's possible we missed them with everything going on in the graveyard.

I noticed the ghosts that used to pop up in the attic room are gone but the ones behind the tombstones in the graveyard are still there. They seem to jump up much slower though.
