But someone please tell me--when something is called "Vintage" does that me it is actually used and old, or does it mean that the style is from a vintage period of time (whatever that means)?

I'm hoping it isn't vintage because I owned that coat in the late 80's/early 90's.

I guess "technically" it is but I always think of much older items when the term vintage is used.

I owned that coat back then, too. We had a dog we were keeping for a friend and he used to chew my stuff when he got mad at me (like if I had to go to work), so he took the coat off the hanger in the closet (he was huge, a german shepherd/rott mix) and ate it.

It's funny--that dog was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the picture!

So, yeah, I like that coat.
