A Finepix F550EXR. http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/f/finepix_f550exr/

I have learned my lesson the hard way. I have never been one to want a gargantuan DSLR but I have always had a SLR style/size point and shoot like a Canon S2 IS, S3 IS or the SX30. After 4 trips to Disney I have decided that it just isn't worth the hassle of carrying around some piece of equipment like that all day, all trip. I don't need to take a photo of a fly on the side of Cinderella's Castle. :) The above camera will suit my needs just fine. It has the highest zoom level of any pocket point and shoot I have seen and it seems to meet all of my other requirements for a camera. But have any of you heard anything negative about this camera?

Just a suggestion....but you may want either google this camera to look for reviews or I what I do is go over to Amazon.com and look up any product I'm considering. I found 39 reviews of this camera on Amazon where the overall rating was 4 out of 5. I like reading reviews for products on Amazon because the comments are coming from real folks who have used the product in question.

True. And I have looked at the reviews. So far they are pretty good. I was just hoping there would be someone here who may have used this one in the past or is currently using it so I could discuss it with them. I'll probably get this one anyway unless someone here has had issues with one like it in the past.

I do the same thing. B & H Photo Video is another place I go to for reviews and purchases. Also check out dpreview.com forums. You can search by brand, and often specific cameras.

I forgot to mention B & H, I often look at their customer reviews before buying a product.

I have not used that particualr camera, but in general I like Fuji point and shoots. I have a few in the house and I've been happy with them. But do your own research. Look at the specs and sample images. Go to the store and play with it. And try to look at some reviews that are a little less biased than the cutomer reviews you find on store sites. Those reviews tend to be either love or hate and not a very objective evaluation of the equipment. Try www.dpreview.com and see if they have a review of that one.
