Hey thanks for bringing it up ...I was on the test board and it came up but when i posted it ..It didnt oh well lol ..Yeah it was getting dark quick that day ...Im trying to find the cool one i dd with dd ...I want to do his senior pics ....

The composition is fine, good looking young man!! :thumbsup2 The light looks flat though, most likely on camera flash or a strobe on the hot shoe??? This kind of flash does illuminate the subject but flattens out features and doesn't allow for shadows in the places that make the photo interesting. An off camera strobe to camera right with a fill bounce on camera left would have been killer!!

But then, you do what you can with what you have!! Hard to take all that "stuff" around to different locations.......:rolleyes1

So what do you think about the bird pic..?? I have never seen a blue herring up so close.....

The bird pic is very nice. Great shot!

thanks Shawn ..I never had a bird so close and not move ..I guess his fish were more important than me taking his pic lol ..

Now i got tons of my sons buddies wanting me to do thier senior pics ..And of course they want to see a portfolio..So i am trying to do some practice shots of some freinds I have some wedding pics i took but what will i need to put in it ...Help me please ..I dont no ..Some of the pics i did i gave them everything ...Should i put in before and after pics of blemishes ??? What else...How many

Here is a new one from easter ...Let me know what ya think

Great picture - I love the background! I'm not one for borders, etc. But I think in this case it really compliments the picture nicely and is a very nice touch. To me, it looks like his face may be slightly overexposed. Maybe you need to warm the skin tones up a bit? I am no expert here, so I'll let someone with more knowledge offer their advice.

i thought the same thing, his face has a greenish cast in some areas( ie cheeks, chin) and they look overexposed...not sure what camera you are using but you might want to use RAW, I find it it covers a multitude of sins ;) since you have more latitude to post process. i have a friend with a casio p&s who has greenish skin tones as well( i mean martian green for his) but don't know if it's a white balance issue or what. i have pse5 so with that you can adjust skin tone, not sure what software you have

I am a little afraid of the color..Is this better...I did the auto fix but it didnt do much ...Thanks for pointing out the green ...My crappy point n shoot is giving me greive..Pics are always getting blurry now ..I know i need a new one before i take all these senior pics..As for the background he wanted it really westerny ..I think the barb wire sets off the whole pic...
