What do you think of Stouffer's Lasagna?

from OP
Good news. I have found two other people to make a lasagna and another one for meatless baked ziti. Now I will only have to make 1 lasagna in addition to set up and clean up. I make mine with the barilla no boil lasagna and it is so good! Hopefully everyone will bring a homemade one! If not, I'm sure everything will get eaten.

Just to add - we recently did two of these frozen "party size" lasagnas for my husband's birthday party - one meat, one cheese. We had about 25 people over and there was NOTHING LEFT at the end. Some of the kids had multiple servings, and all of the adults ate it. If there were any complaints, we certainly didn't hear them.

I see that you were able to get some volunteers and didn't have to use them, but my attitude is - if someone's feeding you, you don't complain about what you're served. Especially in a situtation like this where it didn't look like you were going to get enough volunteers - if people wanted something else they could have put in the work. (And I see that they did, so that's great!)

OP, glad you found volunteers.

I cannot stand Stouffer's lasagna (I think it tastes just like that Chef Boyardee stuff - gross-out!) but liked the Michaelangelo stuffed shells I've bought at BJ's before.
DH's mother doesn't cook much, and I've suffered through several dinners of Stouffer's lasagnas b/c that was what she served. The things we do for love!

Wow, I must be the only person who actually likes it. The Italian is better than the Traditional, but I really like the Veggie Lasagna but it isn't made in the party size (or at least not stocked in my grocers).

I don't find anything wrong with using frozen entrees to feed a group if no one is willing to cook one.

I agree. We LOVE the Veggie one. They do make it in the party size, but they are a little harder to find. I get them at the business center Costco and I think I've seen them at Albertson's before.

Have to say, we love it! I've never tried to make it myself because Stouffers is great IMO. We prefer the Traditional and will occasionally have the Veggie Lasagna as well.
