of having our room ready when we arrive at BLT at 945am?
We have a MK 1 BR booked - I just did online check in and am wondering if there is any chance our room will be ready that early in the morning?

any thoughts are appreciated!

Depends on the prior occupant, we went in June and checked in at 8 am and the room was ready. We stayed for 7 nights and then, went on a cruise. Then, came back for one night and checked in around 10 am and our room was not ready until around 3 pm.

So, it really just depends....

I really think it is a crap shoot! If they say your room is not ready I would ask is there any 1 bedroom MK views that maybe ready ( that is if you do not have special request). We did this after waiting 3 hours (11 - 2 PM) AKL and our room still was not ready I nicely asked "do you have any 1 bdrm sv rooms ready?" As soon as MS checked he found 1 (actually more then 1 clean room) and we were in the room 10 minutes later.

I worked in a resort that pre-assigned rooms, it had it advantages but it always seemed like the early arrivals had to wait and the guest that would show up at 8PM would be assigned the room that was vacated and cleaned by 9 a.m.!

I would suggest planning for it not to be, and then you can be happily surprised if it is. This July I got to both BWV and OKW about noon, and our room was ready, but I wouldn't count on it.

Thanks for all of your input - I kind of feel like it is a crap shoot like a PP suggested, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that we're lucky and it's ready :cool1:

First trip to BLT the room was ready at 10:00AM, second trip 6:45PM and when we went to the room it was still occupied by another family. There was a do not disturb(can't remember exact wording) tag hanging on the door which we thought was odd but our card worked...scary. Got into another room at 7:30PM.

Typically it would have to be empty the night before to get in that early. I don't think housekeeping starts until around 8:30am.

Is it possible to show up really REALLY late (like 9AM) on the first night of the reservation? That is, if the OP (or anyone) wanted to spend the points, would BLT allow check-in anytime between 4PM and 11AM on "arrival day"? Dos this make sense?
