What do you think is cool dressing for guys?

Suits are okay. My husband dresses in a suit everyday so it's lost it's allure for me. LOL I do prefer it to the "business casual" look he had at the previous job. Khakis and polos. <yawn>

I prefer jeans, a black Tshirt and hiking boots/work boots.

I really dislike sandals on men...though DH has a pair of Tevas for WDW.
HATE those Adidas type slip ons. They make my stomach turn.

Shorts are great, a little above the knee, no basketball type shorts-DH has a paid, but he uses them for b-ball only.
I like tailored tan, army green, or navy (no pleats like someone else mentioned)shorts on DH. Carpenter jean shorts as well.
My husband is short, but he has GREAT legs, so I love when he wears shorts.

Short sleeved dress shirts should be banned, as should hockey jerseys(except on hockey players of course). Those are the two shirts I could not abide DH wearing.

Sweaters are okay as long as they are thin, no big bulky sweaters.
My VERY favorite thing to see DH in is his bunker gear or FD dress uniform.

Me, either. And do not get fascination women have with men in uniforms, either.

Give me a guy in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt any day of the week. Polo shirts & pants fine, too.

I admit, have drooled over a construction guy or two in my day.

Ohhh, men in uniform..the Marine dress uniform especially!!
IMO, there is NOTHING a man looks better in than a uniform...ohh unless it's those SWAT guys in their black pants and shirts

I see my DH in his fireman uniform all the time, so that doesn't do it for me anymore. But when I see him in his turnouts or his Class A uniform....bow chicka bow bow.... !

I like the blue collar look. Something about t-shirts and workboots (the tan kind) do it for me. When my DH is working on a project and has on his cargo shorts, a t-shirt and workboots....I just love it.

No sandals (especially crocs, lol) unless they're flip flops.

What about sweaters on guys?

I was just going to post "sweaters"- with dark jeans or khakis. For some reason, I love when my BF wears a nice, soft sweater- it's so nice to cuddle against, especially sitting outside in a nice autumn breeze . . .

He looks very handsome in a suit, too, but not a tux w/ bow tie- that doesn't do it for me.

This isn't about clothing, but I have always had this strange weakness for the back of a guy's neck- when it's neatly shaved straight across like right after a new haircut. My BF gets haircuts every two weeks without ever being reminded.

sweater are ok for guys- i LOVE sweaters and jeans- for some reason i have a thing for sweaters (or button down long sleeve shirts) that that sleeves are a bit too long--even when DH HAS to wear a suit to a wedding, i tell him to buy a thicker while shirt that it just a tad bit too big-- nothing worse than seeing a guy in a "thin" white button up shirt that fits just right or i bit too tight!

not a suit kinda girl-- not into white collar guys (or some of the " its all about me" attitudes that come with the white collar) <<<-- no flames- just saying the guys that i seem to encounter, not saying YOURS!
blue collar guys just seem more down to earth.....IMO.

and guys in uniform-- sometimes it like it. of course if they are cute-- its not a problem! any kind of uniform will do. went to charleston sc one year and all the young guys in their little military uniforms-- they looked so adorable.

howabout on rescue me......."Sean Garrity" and some of the other guys lookin good as firemen!
