Just wanted some opinions.
Going to WDW Sept. 20-27. Cast includes myself, Niece and her BF and their 3 kids (boys 6 & 9, girl 4)

My niece has been there before, about 8 years ago. None of the others have been there.

It's gonna be semi-commando style, since they may not get back here again for a long time (the trip was my Christmas present to them last year.) So I want them to try to see as much as possible.

However, I'm not totally crazy (hint for the tag fairy). I know the plans may be adjusted based on how tired the kids get or how long (or short) it takes us to do things based on crowd level. So, here goes.

Sept. 20th arrive at resort approx. 2 pm. Unpack and get situated. Head over to Disney Studios. Have to get our ToT time in before refurb. Stay at DS till about 6PM. Then go to MK for SpectroMagic and Fantasy in the Sky. Go back to ASMovies and crash!

Sept. 21 EE at MK. Stay till about noon and then go to EPCOT. Have afternoon PS for ice cream social. Stay at EPCOT till 5 or 6. Depending on kids, go to DtD and walk around or DQ

Sept. 22 MK - Breakfast at Cindy's (yeah!). Hang out at MK all day until dinner at Chef Mickey's (have PS). After dinner take the kids to a kids club and us adults are going to Jellyrolls!

Sept. 23 sleep in a little. Have breakfast at Kona Cafe (tonga toast here I come!). Kinda take it easy today. Maybe do a waterpark or stay at the pool. Possibly DQ later in the afternoon.
Just a day to recharge the batteries.

Sept. 24 Sea World. Dinner with Shamu

Sept. 25 EE at MK. Possibly hop to another park in the afternoon or go hit the pool

Sept. 26 EE at AK Hang here all day. Have a late, lite breakfast.
Have PS for RFC (using VKL vouchers) Head back to resort to pack up stuff.

Sept. 27 EE at DS. Check out of resort, go to Studios till early afternoon and head to airport for home.

On any of the nights, my DN and her BF may go to PI and I'll stay at the pool with the kids.

At least we'll have Sunday to relax and recuperate before going back to work/school!

What a sweet Aunt you are! :)

I understand the commando thing...sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do...been there done that!

I'm thinking crowds shouldn't be too bad then....most schools back in session by then so maybe y'all won't be really rushing that much, lines shouldn't be bad.The break day during the middle of your trip is an excellent idea!

On Sept25 or 26 ya might try seeing Illuminations or Fantasmic.

You're REALLY smart leaving that rest day before the "real world" comes knocking on your door on Monday!

Have a great trip!

I wish the rest of my life was as organized as my Disney trips!
(Wow! that could be another tag for me). I'm getting tag carzy lately. Must be addictive.

I was starting to think the trip plans were a little too scheduled.
But with PS's and EE's I figure we can adjust the rest of the time around them. And if crowds aren't too bad, it'll be easier to change our plans in mid-stream. I just wanted to feel like I had a plan than to just wander around the parks and end up missing a lot of things.

By the way, I printed out a bunch of pages from the Disney Dollarless website so the kids can keep a journal of their trip. This will also come in handy for their school report when they return. The pages are really cute and they ask questions about transportation, the weather, where to find things in the parks, etc.

If your child has to do a report on their trip to WDW, these come in very handy!

Looks like a great schedule...know where you're going to be, but not too rigid. Just a couple of things.

1) You may need more time for Epcot. It's pretty big.

2) I would do my best to go see Fantasmic at DS. Just an amazing show! The best on property in my opinion. Looks like you have plenty of time to do that on any of three nights...9/23; 9/25 or 9/26. Worth the trip over to DS.

Just my .02!

Have fun!

Stacy

Stacy,

We probably will spend a little more time in Epcot. Not sure how well the kids will do there. They are looking forward to Test Track, though.

I figured if the kids didn't want to stay there, I can take them back to the pool and my niece and her BF can see the rest of Epcot.

It's not really one of my favorites so it's no big deal if I miss it.

Terri

Good Plan. My only suggestion is to catch the finale shows at each of the 3 theme parks. You have MK in there, but Epcot and DS are awesome shows to and really are not to be missed! Other than that you have the perfect plan. Have a great time!
