I sat through a mini-marathon last night and I can't decide if I like it. Some parts were clever, granted, but I never LOL'ed once. :confused3

Best show on TV... at least it was.

Somebody has to pick this show up!

ITA!! I love Arrested Development and I don't stop laughing. Sometimes it's even funnier the 2nd or 3rd time around because you miss so much word play the first time.

I think it's great. Very disappointed that Fox dropped it. I came to it late and have been catching up through Netflix. Liza Minelli was a great foil for Lucille.

I love it too! I haven't gotten to watch the mini-marathon from Friday night yet (probably tonight), but have faithfully watched it from the beginning. I got the first two seasons on DVD for Christmas and spent the post-holiday rerun season rewatching the first season. I think it is very well-written and just so crazy, absurd, and fast-paced that I am another one who sees something new every time. They also loop around and reference the past a lot (for example I've recently rewatched episodes from the beginning of Season 2 and in one of them Buster gets addicted to one of those crane machines and he ends up winning a stuffed seal and carrying it around for the rest of the episode--regular viewers know what happened later in the season that involved Buster and a seal). I imagine coming into it at the end like you did, Sheree Bobbins, would be kind of confusing and you might not get all the references to things that have happened in the past.

DH and I love this show and we're really hoping that some other network picks it up. We laugh out loud several times during each episode. Very funny!! I'm bummed I missed the marathon last night. :guilty:

LOVE IT!!!! DH and I are crushed that it's over. Definately one of the funniest things on TV in ages. Every episode is just hysterical! Great writing and wonderful acting - which is a rare combo on television. We're desperately hoping that someone picks it up. Probably won't happen, though.

Ill drag this up--- it's my favorite show on television.

Rent, borrow, or buy the first season, and watch it from the beginning. If you're like me, you'll be hooked by the fourth episode.

AD was one of the greatest TV shows that WAS on TV. Fantastic show! It took multiple viewings to get all the jokes, and the jokes you got the first time around are still funny. Very subtle humor, which is why I think it failed to pick up ratings. I'm surprised Fox stuck with it as long as they did, and I don't expect Showtime to pick it up, but AD was great while it lasted!

Mock Trial with J. Reinhold! Mock Trial with J. Reinhold!

We love, love, love AD. I can't stand it that Fox has cancelled it. Please Showtime or ABC...pick it up!!! We currently don't have Showtime, but you'd better believe we'd get it to watch AD!

It was the best show on TV. But very hard to watch if you didn't watch from the beginning, I think.

One of my all-time favorite shows! It has everything I like in a sitcom- narration, no laugh track (I mean really, I'll decide if it's funny enough to laugh!). DH and I quote lines from AD almost daily and sadly my 7 year old does a great "Gob" chicken impression! I had no idea they aired the last 4 episodes on Friday opposite the opening ceremonies of the Olympics and missed them all! :scared1: I had never missed an episode until then... :sad2:

I didn't see Fox run a single ad advertising it for Friday night.

The only reason I caught the last four episodes was some guy on a hockey message board posted that they were airing. I should have passed it along to everyone here. (I don't watch Fox except for AD, so I had no idea whether they were promoting it or not.)
