I was looking at AllEars.net for New years eve information and this is now on their New years Eve page:

NOTE: Tune in to "Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve 2012 with Ryan Seacrest" on ABC for a special Disney Parks announcement. Check your local listings for channel and information.

Any thoughts on what that announcement will be?

Is that from last year??? Because they announced the "One More Disney Day" thing last New Years Eve...

Yes, that was from January 2012, it was the "One More Disney Day" promotion.

Oh, ok. It says "New Years Eve 2012" which is this year...Dec. 31. Must have been typed wrong.

ABC uses the new year in their show title, so the past year's show was 2012, this year will be "New Year's Rockin' Eve 2013".

Well, they're doing it again for 2013, to be announced New Year's Eve 2012 (December 31, 2012). Anyone know what this will be?? Same thing??

They are going to explain their promotion for this year, which no one really knows about other than maybe they are doing something different every day.

This morning during the parade Maria Menonous said that SHE will make an announcement for exciting news for WDW during THIS years show. Maybe the new CarsLand they are going to be building at DHS?

I agree, but think they will announce some sort of contest with the promotion as in years past.

The current speculation most people think is the limited time magic promos they are running at both parks during the month of January. Considering how anti-climactic last year's announcement was, I wouldn't expect anything too mind blowing this year.
