Great stylist, I have been going to her for years and you definitely get what you pay for. She is so meticulous, the cut alone usually takes an hour. Only thing that annoys me is that she is so good her appts are always 6-8 weeks out. And you better make your holiday appts in June. Although I am happy I can even get in as she is no longer taking new clients and there is a huge waiting list.

That's great that in today's economy her business is thriving.

Nowadays, people tend to spend less on big ticket items and are more apt to spend money on things that make them feel better such as personal grooming, make-up, spas, etc...

I usually buzz my own hair but when I want a nice haircut and a straight razor shave, I usually pay about $20 plus tip. I love the feeling of a straight razor shave but would never EVER do it myself.

Whoa, I can't believe how cheap it is for everyone. Well I DO get my hair highlighted as well and I certainly can't complain, as my cousin does my hair for half the price of a salon. I pay $60.00 which in my opinoin for a cut and color is VERY good. A normal salon would easily charge me $110 - $120 :O

I'm getting a FREE haircut tomorrow at the local college. Just have to bring in 3 canned goods. Normally it's $10, and they don't accept tips.

Used to pay $57 then moved to NH - now its $25 + tip and if I get my brows done at the same time its just $10 more

Wow at all these cheap prices. When I go to get my highlights done, I usually pay $125 for foil highlights, cut and style. They also charge extra for long or medium length hair. The last time I went I got color, partial highlights, cut and style and it came to $170. The girl that does my hair is the best though. It's a treat to myself every few months. I deserve it.
