God bless you?

Bless you?

Gott segnen Sie (German for God Bless you)

Or do you say "here man, use a tissue!" :p

Bless you

As not everyone believes in God, I refrain from using that term outside of church

OMG...GERMS, GERMS, GET AWAY FROM ME!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Just kidding.

I usually just say Bless You.

Jess

God bless you!

Then...get those germs away from me!! :teeth: Just kidding.

Actually, with ds it's...

God bless you, cover your mouth.
God bless you, cover your mouth.

:)

Usually just "bless you" but if it one of my 4yo's I've got to say the whole God Bless you! with emphasis! Its a bigdeal to them. I could be amile away and sneze and somewere somehow you will hear Shayne scream "GOD BLESS YOU MOM" and you BETTER thank him when he does!

Bless you. I work for a company with a VERY diverse employee base. In my group I work with two Bhuddists, two Hindu's, half a dozen Christian's, one Wiccan, one Jew, an Agnostic, and a few more that I have no idea what their beliefs are.

Bless you seems to be the least offensive to all, "gazooontite" (sp?) would likely not be understood by several who are ESL, and simply ignoring the sneeze seems almost more offensive than offending someone with the commonly used "bless you".

MHO.

It's according to who they are. Normally, I say "Bless you." But if it's my dd, I say "gesundheit" because she'll spell gesundheit if she hears me say it.:teeth:

CHOCOLATE!

Yes, I'm serious! That is what we say at home.

And why is it "offensive" to ignore a sneeze? I always feel "pressured" to acknowledge a sneeze just because it is socially expected to say "bless you" and I'm afraid I'll be considered rude if I don't. But I really think it's pretty silly.
