What do you say when asking CM's to check codes?

Hi, I feel kind of dumb asking this, but I keep reading about everyone calling in and checking to see if they have codes attached to their name. I think I want to try it, but have a few questions.....Which phone number do you call? Do you just say something like "Good morning, I'm calling to see if there are any codes attached to my name in your system?" Or do you say you are interested in a WDW vacation and are just curious if there are any discounts by your name?
Also, my current trip is booked through AAA, so can I even call CRO directly and will they have access to name, info, etc?? :confused3 I've always had my agent contact them because my AAA confirmation number doesn't work with their system. I would love to plan another trip this year if I have a code:banana:  :cool1:

:santa: I did this two days ago. Get a CM on the phone and tell them your name, etc..if you are in the computer ask if there are any codes or discount offers attached to your name (I also told them I heard there were discounts that you could only get by calling). They gave me one and it is saving me significant dollars.

Good luck.

Is this for a trip that has been booked and paid in full or for future bookings? Thanks! :)

After they check my personal info I just come out and ask if there is any pins/codes attached to my name. So far there have been none, but that's okay I was one of the few who was offered the 40% from a CM.:thumbsup2
