I'm going to be making a couple of PS's today for b-fast and was wondering what was really outstanding at the Whispering Canyon for b-fast.

Thanks in Advance

I always get the skillet breakfast (i think its called canyon skillet). It cost around $10 and it is unlimited. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, etc.

Although they push their skillet breakfast - we decided to order a la carte, with the exception of my 6 year old who did get the skillet - and got refills on her bacon! The skillet looked okay - but basically a pre-plated buffet.

DH, my 14 year old, and myself all got a variation of their omelets - they were HUGE! The flavors were simply out of this world - I got the veggie omelet - lots of mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers and onions with yummy gooey cheese. Too much to finish though - we should have split.

My 12 year old got the French Toast - and said it was perfect as well.

I think you can't really go wrong here for breakfast - just be hungry - portions are large! Great fun too -my 6 year old got to lead the stick horse race around the restaurant!

Oooh! That skillet thing is amazing. I think it's around $10 per person, but they keep refilling it. You can specifically request more of what you liked, or they'll bring you a whole new one.

I don't remember what's on it entirely, but it has eggs, bacon, sausage, some kind of biscuits, a sweet bread or maybe french toast. YUMMY!!!! (and a lot of fun!)

Don't forget to ask for the ketchup!:D

Thanks you guys!

I just made 2 PS's for Whispering Canyon . . .can't wait to go . . it all sounds soooo yummy!

DH was looking at the www.wdwig.com website where it had all the menus and he was definately thinking of getting the skillet breakfast . . .he loves to eat a HUGE b-fast . . .

I also made a PS for Kona, GF Cafe and Crystal Palace . . .our last morning there we will be just stopping by Roaring Forks on our way out to the airport.

We aren't going to make any dinner PS's this year . . .

Thanks again!

We really like Whispering Canyon and ate there about four times during our 7 nights last June. Breakfast was OK but nothing fantastic. The french toast was good and enough for my 12 year old son and I to split. Dinner is better in my opinion but I'm not a big breakfast eater.
