What do you pack in the diaper bag for a 6 month old?

I haven't done Disney with my baby yet, but will be next month. I plan to take:
  • diapers
  • wipes
  • Two spare outfits
  • Pacifiers
  • Infant Tylenol
  • Baby sunscreen
  • Changing pad
  • Sun hat
  • Desitin
  • Ziplock bags to contain random nastiness
  • Antibacterial gel

The same things you would pack for a day at the mall or to the park. A couple of extra diapers maybe, an extra t-shirt? Not much actually.

suncream,
4 nappies,
wipes,

maybe at a push 1 change of outfit.

But I pack light.

I don't like to pack too much and actually follow another posters suggestion and pack just as I would going to the mall except I throw in a few extra diapers/wipes.

Have you added solids? I found some great Rubbermaid small containers with screw on lids (important for no leaks!) that were great for mixing cereal and baby food while we are at the parks when my ds was that age. I'd bring a couple of jars of babyfood and a bag of rice cereal seperate. If there were leftovers I kept them in the screw lid container and tossed into the cooler to keep it fresh.

Quart sized baggies for a change of clothes were nice---makes everything fit nice and small when you squeeze the air out.

Emergency meds: infant motrin drops, eczema cream.

Disposable bibs. And favorite feeding spoon x 2 (in case we lost one).

Lightweight blanket in case it got cold: also good for blocking out light/sun during naps.

Diapers and wipes of course!

My son was 3 months the first time we went, and then 18 months the next time, then 34 months. and I packed him a diaper bag. He was on formula at 3 months so I just brought his forumla and a few bottles of room temp water, i think two changes of clothes, and diapers and wipes. Second trip, a few change of clothes and juice and diapers and wipes. this last time, snacks, juice, water, clothes, and wipes. I think as long as I get to go while my kids are still little, the wipes will be a staple....and a change of clothes cause they like to play in the fountains and you never know when they will spill something on themselves.

DD was 6 months old when we went and we packed wipes and diapers ( 4 ) extra outfit, socks, binkie, 2 jars of food, spoon, sposie bib, yogurt melts.
