We are a family of 4 and I refuse to be a pack mule. I carry a small messenger bag with 4 ponchos, a couple snacks, a couple bandaids and some ibuprofen (had no idea these were free at first aid though, do they have childrens too?) extra socks and lip balm.

phone
portable charger AND the regular one
tissues
hand sanitizer/ wipes
sunglasses
lip balm
lotion (I think the water makes my skin extremely dry because my hands are never that dry at home)
2 snacks (usually a granola bar and a little trail mix)
credit card/ giftcards/ disney visa rewards card
ID
annual pass card for discounts
A plastic bag (if i forget no biggie just go to a store) For rides like Splash Mountain I've ruined my bag from putting it on the floor got all dirty and I couldn't clean it. Ever since, I put my bag in a plastic bag for Splash!
Ponchos everyday if it's in the summer, according to weather for other times of the year
Occasionally more layers of clothing, scarf, gloves etc (I don't take Florida's cold nights in February very well for someone from NY.......)

ID

a bottle of water
Misty Mate mister. (We go in July/August. They make a huge difference for us in terms of comfort.)
poncho

The kids bring a snack, but they're old enough that it's up to them to carry their own stuff. And I'm not a big sunglass person, so I typically leave them behind.

Why do y'all bring sunscreen? Don't you apply it before you leave the room?
If my red head/so pale he's transparent skinned DH can make it without reapplying all day anyone can

I'm a pale redhead too. No way can I make it a full day without reapplying. I've tried it and it wasn't pretty.

Nothing. I have my Magic Band which is my entry to the parks, my credit card for purchases, my snacks and dining authority. I have a comb in my back pocket and I have my drivers license and medical insurance card (just in case) in my front pocket. No camera, no phone, no IPad, nothing. I'm hands free and light as a feather when I spend the day in the park. My wife o nthe other hand has a fanny pack with her ID and medical insurance card, a brush and her medicine that she takes with her meals. That's it.

We bring a water bottle, sunglasses case, ponchos, Advil, stomach meds, Chapstick, hats, phones, and battery bank.

Yes they have childrens meds too. One of mine got an earache at Epcot and they had exactly what we needed. They were also passing out Bandaids left and right but I pack those because they don't take up much space.

I take only my Magicband, sunscreen, sunglasses , my phone and some money.
I don't need more!

we use a inslulated backpack and we take portable chargers, water, powerade, giftcards, sunglasses, rain ponchos, and we have our resort mugs becuase we stop through to grab a fill up on the way to the bus

I carry a backpack into the park, so this is what's in it:

- 100 oz hydration bladder
- Granola bars and peanut butter crackers for snacks.
- Lunch
- mole skin and band aids
- Anti bacterial / anti viral wipes
- hand sanitizer
- DSLR camera
- attached to the outside is the two way radio and speaker mic I use when my wife and I have to take our kids on separate rides.
- 800 mg ibuprofen

On me, I carry my clip on sunglasses, cell phone, car keys, cash, wallet and challenge coin.

We don't take sunscreen, as we all wear long pants, large brimmed hats and shirts with sleeves that come down to or past the elbows.

Next time, I'm going to throw in one of those portable battery chargers and a cell phone charger.

There is no way I would be able to be out in the sun all day without burning. I have tried before and ended up getting so badly burned, I needed to use an umbrella to stay out of the sun for the rest of my trip :( I reapply at least twice during the day.

So I'm a pack mule...
Backpack:
Ponchos, sunscreen, migraine meds, soda, tea, trail mix, lemonade mix, brush
Purse:
Money, id, insurance card, powder, lip gloss /lipstick, eyeglass case/wipes, hand sanitizer, lotion, heartburn meds, mints
It really isn't as heavy as it sounds. ;)

Phone, magic band, gift card wrist band, ID and credit card and a poncho. It all fits in my pocket.

I use a small crossover and bring -
travel pack of wipes
sm. bottle of hand sanitizer
sm sandwich bag with - a few bandaids, tums, advil
wallet (cash, cards etc)
eyeglass case
phone
travel size sunblock
son's inhaler
spf lip balm

magic band on wrist, if I'm wearing something with pockets then phone in pocket, small flip type wallet with AP, CC, a little cash and ID, reading glasses on a necklace around neck, sunglasses on my face, cap on my head. If it's rainy season (hey I've been there once and it didn't rain) an umbrella on my wrist or a raincoat folded to the size of a zip lock bag in a pocket. If I'm not wearing anything with pocket, the above goes in a small crossbody bag. I'm looking into getting a runners money belt to put my phone and wallet in and I can hook my rain coat to it with the key hook and kind of fold it under the belt (I wear sundresses in the hot months, no pockets).

Our first family trip last month and we packed in one small backpack for the 4 of us:
Travel pack of wipes
ID/credit card
Keys
Sunscreen stick (we don't apply in the AM because we actually need that early morning Vitamin D, but we do burn from 11-3pm which is when we need the sunscreen)
Pen
Hair ties
Lip Balm
Phone, Magic Bands, hats/sunglasses were worn

We tend to travel light. We did the 10 day trip (DDs are 7 & 4 years old) with only carry-ons and it was glorious!
