What do you miss?

Ahh another one I miss at the Plaza. They had a veggie wrap with sauteed portabella mushrooms, peppers topped with goat cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was really yummy (and I didn't feel guilty eating it LOL!)
 
The Beaver tails, The ORIGINAL citrus swirls, the Bread bowls at CHH

Were the original citrus swirls the tall cup of soft vanilla ice cream swirled with a frozen orange juice? This was in the early 80s, my first trip, and my brother and I became addicted to these beauties.

In the 90s, I ordered one and it was nothing like that. :headache:

I don't know if anyones stayed at Shades of Green, but closing down Evergreen's is a big :confused3:sad1:
 
I miss the buffalo sirloin steak from Artist Point. I would pay double if they'd make the entree again special for me.

I also miss the non-"healthy" choices they've added to menus. I'm on vacation, I don't care what I eat.
 
wow there is lots there that i miss....but a few of the big ones is the bread bowls from CHH and the big soft serve walffle cones you used to get from Port orleans FQ....makes me hungry to think of them...
 
What happened to the Figaro Fries? We were so disappointed last week when we went to order them and told they were no longer offered. Are they available anywhere else in the parks, under a different name?

The groddiest things ever made :rolleyes1 haha They were flat fried dough served in Canada and you could get them with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or strawberries on top. I so wanted one, had heard rave reviews and when I finally got it it was icky!:confused3

The ginger mojito at the Victoria Falls lounge in Animal Kingdom Lodge was the first thing to come to mind.

I really like Spoodles' hitipi dip too, but as I make that all the time at home I can't really say I miss it.

I only recently heard that the Coral Reef took their catfish entrée off the menu. That made me a sad panda. I'll definitely miss it when we return there next week.

There are other things that I can't actually "miss" because I never got a chance to try them. I was looking forward to tasting Figaro fries and a strawberry swirl for the first time next week, but both are no longer offered and I missed my chance.
 
I loved the French toast loaf--I had no idea it was gone. We were there several weeks ago and I thought we were too late to get some. What happened?:confused:

I remembered a couple more things-

I really miss "Future Corps"

I miss lunch at CRT before it became a character lunch.
 
French Toast loaf at the Main st. Bakery. This was a first day tradition for 20 years.

I also miss how you could just walk up to any restaurant years ago and most times were able to get a seat with very little wait.
 
DH also misses the Ringes beer in Norway, it was his favorite.
We miss the bread bowls at the CHH and the half soup and sandwich combo.
I miss the Prime Rib at R & C
I am sure there are others as I think about it
