What do you mean no sweet tea?

Well, sweet tea is really popular with millions of people so yea i would expect them to have sweet tea.I dont drink water because i dont like the taste but they serve that dont they.

Many people eat Cuy too but you can't find that at WDW. Yes, they serve water. Not sure what that has to do with anything.

While I know many like sweet tea there are also people who cannot have sweet tea. I am thankful that Disney doesn't serve sweet tea as I have found quite often if the restaurant has sweet tea it will not have unsweet tea which leaves me nothing safe to drink due to aspartame allergy and diabetes.

Real sweet tea is not made with aspartame, it's made with real sugar-yes, still not good for you as a diabetic. I don't see why they can't serve both, though. Most restaurants here have both. And yes, I do mean the good stuff-I was stationed in Charleston, SC and grew up visiting relatives in other southern states, so I know the difference.

Yeah as a 40 year resident of Florida that is the one thing that annoys me about Disney. lol Not getting my sweet tea! I don't drink it that often but sometimes you just get a craving. Thanks to the pp for mentioning about Starbucks. Will have to try theirs out.

Just about every restaurant here serves both, as well.

As long as we are on the topic of drinks Disney needs to offer, can we add Diet Dr Pepper to the list? Sweet tea and Diet Dr Pepper would both be excellent addition, in my opinion.

No Dr Pepper because its not a Coke product.

In some areas its kind of a Coke product because Dr Pepper, part of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, subcontracts with local independent Coke bottlers but not in FLorida and not for WDW.

From wikipedia

In 2006 and 2007, Cadbury Schweppes purchased the Dr Pepper/Seven Up Bottling Group, along with several other regional bottlers. This allowed DPS to bottle many of its own beverages and combat the recent decision by many Pepsi and Coke bottlers to drop their products. Some of the Dr Pepper/Seven Up brands are still licensed to Pepsi, Coke and independent bottlers in various regions of the United States and Canada.

The Gold Peak tea from the soda machine in the food courts is sludge. It taste terrible. We end up getting the tea bag and making our own ice tea, which is too bad the freshly brewed tea they used to serve was very good.

For those of you not from Fla the saying is "the further south you go the more north it is. The further north you go the more southern it is." Orlando is about the boundary and still northern like in some ways. The panhandle resembles S. GA or Ala.

I grew up in S Fla and they automatically serve you unsweet tea there. Then you go to Tallahassee or Jax and you automatically are served sweet tea. So it varies by the state region.

In the club level fridges they offer Mr Pibb. What does that taste like? Does anyone here know what Cheerwine is?:confused3

Cheerwine is good. It's soda...and to me it tastes a little bit like cherry Dr. Pepper. (Also, Mr. Pibb is Coca-Cola's version of Dr. Pepper)

Thank you! I'll be sure to try Mr Pibb and Cheerwine next visit! I love Dr Pepper!

I don't think it's been mentioned here (although I may have already posted and forgotten it LOL), but the Joy of Tea stand in China sells a peach sweet tea that is fantastic. Now, it's FIVE dollars for a solo cup full, but if you're in major tea craving mode, it's worth every penny! If they'd sell some sort of refillable mug for that, there's no telling what I'd pay for it.

LOL, so funny.. my sister was dying for sweet tea while we were there in October. Luckily Yachtsman & California Grill had simple syrup so she was able to get her sweet tea fix.
