I was checking my dates for December at Disney's website. We're staying at the WL from 12/19 to 12/20 with the dining plan and 5 day park hoppers. We have a courtyard view room. As much as I like the courtyard if it's INNER courtyard, I was looking to see if woods view was available. When I plugged in the dates from the 19th to the 25th, all that came up was courtyard.
When I plugged in the 20th to the 25th, I had my choice of every room category from standard to concierge.
When I plugged in just the 19th to the 20th, again I had my choice of every room category.
But as soon as I put back the 19th to the 25th, just courtyard came up.
Is this a scam on Disney's part? Is it the corporate side trying to get us to pay the higher holiday rates? I know I could book 2 separate ressies, one for a room-only for the one night (19th) especially since we're getting in late, but why should I have to do that? What if I want woods view or club level for the whole stay? It just seems odd to me that the availibility is there yet I cannot book what I truly want unless I play the game.
I also checked availibility at the GF and the system was working the exact same way.
What is your take on this??
