What do you love about where you live?

I love going to Portsmouth. Especially the old shopping/museum districty thing. One of my favourite places when I was younger and living closer to it was the Children's Museum. That place was sooooooo much fun.

I saw a mall there, but we were looking for somewhere to eat so we didn't bother. My parents found a liquor store there they really liked.
We're thinking we might drive through again in the summer, I'm looking forward to it. I love long drives, and everything is so quaint (as in really small towns that run together) in the north east US.

Besides having the ability to walk to sonic, then to the library and back home in 45 minutes.

Nothing.

hehe i guess im not the only person unhappy with their location. seriously, there is maybe one good mall here and 1 good movie theater...i wish puerto rico would float towards california...

We don't have either of those.
We have a dollar store.
Sonic, McDonalds, Pizza Hut.
And a donut shop!
Woohoo. -_-

I love pretending I'm a tourist and just taking a drive through the notches around here. Though, not in the winter. They suck in the winter. Too slick for out-of-staters.

If we're talking in my immediate town (which is actually a village) we don't have any of those. We had 3 gas stations, at least 3 pizza places, a chinese take out place, Family Dollar, a Rent a Center (wth?) and some schools.

If we go to the next town over, it will take us less than 10 minutes to get to a Burger King, Wendy's, KMART, Mr.Z's, WalMart, Fashion Bug, Dominoes, more pizza places, Perkins, and a tobacco shop.

I can go to the beach in January.
I can go to a diner at midnight. Any 300 of 'em. (That's just a random number.)
This state's home to (currently) the tallest and fastest roller coaster on the planet, and like 7 malls within a small radius.
We've got the boardwalk, and lot's of it, beaches too. (Cape May, LBI, Seaside, anyone?)
For the older people, we've got AC.
We're home to the New York Giants.
You could get to anywhere in the state within a few hours.
We don't pump our own gas.

THANK GOD.
I'd be clueless...

My town is just so darn safe. There's never any crimes to speak of.

im so close to the shore so if i feel like going swimming or boating i can be there in 15 min.

Summer- i walk everywhere! we have amazing weather in the summer
Fall- beautiful colors
Winter- its cold but its so pretty
Spring- Warm and beautiful!

The only thing I can think of is that the weather is never at extremes. It's usually fairly mild.

Besides that, there's nothing. I live in the 2nd biggest city in the state but it's still very 'small town'. There's never anything good to do. For godsakes, people hang out at WalMart when they have nothing else to do!

I would love to move when I get older, but I'm scared to leave my family. EVERYONE I know (besides you guys, lol) is here. I'm considering maybe transfering to a bigger university (maybe UCF) when I turn 18.

the snow days!! lol.
oh yeah and vthere was a JB concert that I went to =]=]=] (here in chicago)
