What do you love about where you live?

that's sadly about it............... i kinda want to move to florida............. more specifically ORLANDO!!!!!!!!

Dont move to any place close to something that tourists love, beaches, condos, or WDW you will regret it even though i live in a small town a tourist trap is just 5 miles away.

ok what i like about where i live right now are

What do you love about where you live, specifically about this season (autumn/winter)? Well, here's what I love:

- Toronto Maple Leafs are in 2nd place in the hockey league as of the time I'm posting this.
- We're expecting snow later in the week! It'll probably just be a light snowfall but still.. it's snow!
- The skating rink by my house just opened up.
- We have kit-kats!
- The area around Georgian Bay (up north) is beautiful. Colourful leaves from huge trees dance in the wind, the water is beginning to freeze, and the trails are so peaceful.
- If you've never had a white Christmas, you've never lived.
- I'm five minutes away from the biggest mall in Canada. (Besides the Edmonton mall, that's defined as an entertainment complex.)
- I'm just 30-45 mniutes away from the CN tower in Toronto. (Time depends on traffic.)
- In Ottawa, when the river by the parliment freezes it becomes the world's longest skating rink.

There are tons more about winter.. but I'm tired of typing. How about you?

That's some powerful stuff milkabum, I love Canada too and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else because I have been here so long.

I really can't say what I love most about British Columbia, its where I was born and grew up with my brother and sisters so I just love it.

Here is some of the reasons why I love my hometown...

-I don't live in a huge part of the city with big buildings; in my area its mostly farmland.
-Local store owners get to know their regular costumors
-It rains around this time of year (I'm not being sarcastic here, I love rain)
-If we're lucky, we get snow on Christmas
-Purdy's Chocolate
-I have lived in the same house for all of my life
-I'm about 20 minutes away from the beautiful Pacific Ocean
-We spell the words colour and favourite with a 'u' included
-Vancouver (aka Holt Renfrew, Guess, Gucci, and Armani Exchange ) is about 40 minutes away
-Around Christmas my family all go to see the lights in Stanley Park and then go to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner

There is so much I love about where I live that I'm sure you would get bored reading about it all. It was difficult to pick what to type in this post, its just to hard to explain about where you live any why you love it if the people listening have never been there before. Its spectacular just to live in such a loving community, no matter how small it may be.

I was there last spring to visit a college and such, and goodness, tell me about it!

I love it! We get snow, but it's not a freezing winter.

Hmm a Kfc, burger king, taco bell, pollo tropical, MCdonalds, and pizza hut are all a 3 minute drive away.
The sawgrass mall is a 2 minute drive.
I live right next to a borders.
The baseball field is a ten minute walk.
The beach is a 20 minute drive.
Hmm there is alot more!

A lot of you are mentioning fast food places being close by. I can agree with that, as well.

In addition, I'm less than a thirty minute drive away from the inner harbor of the Chesapeake Bay, with all it's wonderful attractions, not to mention the greatest NFL and the greatest MLB stadiums in their respective sports!

-Never too cold (coldest is about 30 in the harshest bit of winter)
-Our varsity team is tied for best in district (undefeated during district play and deciding game Friday... I can't wait)
-small town, so little to no crime
-plenty of trees and plants
-big yards!
