What do you love about Summer/June trips?

We're fall people, every September or October we're at MNSSHP, and we love it. Last year I promised to take a year off Disney so we planned another trip for the fall.... and I was miserable. My DH relented and now we're going on a last minute June Disney trip.

Since I've never been in the summer, can you tell me what I shouldn't miss? What goes on in June that I could never see in October? What are the can't-be-missed moments?

Frozen summer fun
Later park hours
Catch the 2nd MSEP or Fantasmic of the night to avoid insane crowding
A few restaurants like Tortuga Tavern are not open every day in "off seasons"

Longer park hours.
The parks are staffed heavier too, often with more lines open, more cars on rides, etc.
We don't miss school
We know we can swim (after 2 winter trips where we needed sweatshirts in the day time I want warm)
Not sure there is anything in June that isn't there in Oct, just that there is probably MORE of it all in June. When the crowds go down, Disney scales things back too.
