It depends on when you call and how busy it is. Anywhere from 30 minutes (or less) to and hour is typical. Can someone tell me around how long it takes for room service to arrive once you call? Also you order breakfast the night before, correct?
My 13 yr old wants to know if she's allowed to call for room service or if an adult has to?
Only been on one Disney cruise. 2nd this Summeron the Fantasy! Might try room service this time even just for the Mickey Ice cream sandwich!Hey guys! I am going on my 6th Disney cruise and I have never gotten room service. Every Disney cruise I try to do something different (mixology, sit down breakfast, etc.) and after hearing all of the wonderful things about room service I wanted to know what do you guys get from room service and how much do you generally tip since the food/drinks are "free"? Is there something you get every day? Is there a must have? Is there a best time of day to get room service? Give me all of your know how about room service on the Disney cruise. If it varies from ship to ship (or itinerary) I'll be on the Magic for the Fjords this summer.
I think it's fine for your 13 year old to call and order. I know my 16yo niece and 11yo daughter ordered room service for themselves when I wasn't there and didn't have a problem.

My 12 year old twins LOVED the ability to order when they wanted...I placed a large envelope of one dollar bills in the desk drawer and let them go for it...a favorite memory of the cruise for them...My 13 yr old wants to know if she's allowed to call for room service or if an adult has to?
That's what we do, there is a pile of bills in a place, if my children want to order room service. Note the tip can be charged as well, most do not know that.My 12 year old twins LOVED the ability to order when they wanted...I placed a large envelope of one dollar bills in the desk drawer and let them go for it...a favorite memory of the cruise for them...
